Cristin McAlister touched the lives of so many Chicago and LA artists and helped grow the careers of many of our students at The Green Room and beyond. It crushed the hearts of all of us when she lost her battle with tongue cancer this past year, and we hope to do all that we can to raise funds to help her husband, James, with the difficult financial burden.

We've set up a special event-specific GoFundMe page for this event, and any donations are welcome.
Those who are donating $99 or more will be invited to join our guest casting directors for the online event on TUESDAY, JUNE 24th, 7 pm-10 pm.
Please join us and give generously.

During the event, our guest casting directors will share their industry wisdom, answer questions, and dedicate time to give feedback on scene work for each registrant.

We are capping the attendees at 50 people, so please register and donate soon.

In an online group setting, each attendee will get a 3-minute time slot where they can:

• Share a self-tape of their work for feedback
• Ask career-specific questions
• Just get to know the casting directors

Since you'll be able to watch and listen in on the feedback of your fellow actors, you are sure to be exposed to a load of industry insight and answers to questions you didn't even realize you had!

What should you prepare?
You are welcome to just talk with our CDs - but if you'd like to prepare a self-tape for review & discussion, we ask that your tape be no longer than 1 minute. It could be two takes of a commercial audition. It could be a scene from a TV show. It's up to you. Cristin was a brilliant comedian and improviser... so we definitely welcome a bit of comedy. (If you wish). Just keep these to 1 minute and make sure to submit by the end of the day, Fri 6/20

In the spirit of raising as much money as possible, we will have a large group, and things will move quickly. So we ask that you plan ahead with questions, and that any performance work be self-taped and submitted before the event. That way, our moderators can have your clips loaded and ready to go during the meeting.

Please register as far in advance as possible to allow time for preparation.
