In real life we wouldn’t trust her with a band-aid, but she’s figured out how to get showrunners to trust her, and audiences to believe her character week in and week out.

There’s a load of roles in procedural shows where medical jargon helps push the story along. After all, fires, emergencies, and crime are all great vehicles for conflict in both comedy and drama series alike. And they sure do tend to lead towards someone winding up in an ambulance. And we need actors who can talk the talk.
