On-Camera Level 1

8 Week Online Class - $495 (early bird price $470 thru 4/19)

*** There is NO CLASS ON MEMORIAL DAY 5/27!!! This class meets a total of 8 times and spans 9 weeks ***

This is a fully online class. All weekly class meetings will be held on Zoom.

The Green Room’s Screen Acting Fundamentals will take you from an actor who auditions for On-Camera work, to a screen actor who speaks the language of the screen, and imbues your characters with the power to more effectively land their actions in an on-camera medium.

Learn massively effective STRATEGIES to take control of your TV commercial auditions no matter what commercial structure you find yourself in.

Learn to place the STORY first in your TV & Film auditions.

If you are an advanced actor and are hesitant to take a “Level 1” class, be assured that Level 1 is by no means a “beginner” class. It is designed to take the working actor who is out there auditioning and turn them into a far more successful working actor.

This class is designed for:

  • The actor who’s out there and active in the on-camera industry and who wants to increase their bookings in TV/film and commercials.
  • The theater or improv actor - with a strong stage performance foundation who wants to transition to screen acting.
  • If you are a beginner without acting experience or a model moving into speaking roles, this class MIGHT be right for you. The ability to be present and real in a performance before starting this class is a NECESSITY. This class entails a high level of commitment and will often NOT be what the beginner would expect in an acting class. That said, we’ve had LOADS of people new to the acting world prove to be very successful by starting out their journey in our On Camera program. If you like, we can take you through a painless “audition” to get a sense of where you are at at this link. We want to prevent students from mistakenly investing money in a program that might move too quickly for them.
NOTE: There IS homework and multiple self-tape submissions required each week in addition to the class meetings. Our online platform is more robust and engaging than a typical once-a-week “in-studio” class. Please be prepared for the commitment. A smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer is all that’s needed. No further special equipment is required.

The LIVE ONLINE class will meet at 7pm CT (8pm ET, 5pm PT).

The length of each live class is dependent upon the number of students registered but may go up to 3 hrs in length.

PLEASE register as far in advance as possible. There IS some homework that is expected to be done before the first meeting if possible.
